CLEVELAND – The final standings for the 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup were released on Tuesday afternoon, and Connecticut College recorded its highest point total in school history.
The Camels finished the year ranked 63rd in Division III with 318.75 points. A total of 327 institutions qualified for the standings, which are derived from results at NCAA Championships.
Strong performances by the men's and women's outdoor track and field programs pushed Conn to the finish line in the spring. The squads combined for 60 points thanks to a 17th-place finish by the women and a 67th-place finish by the men.
A total of six teams secured points for Conn over the course of the year. The Camels also finished 15th in women's indoor track and field and 16th in men's swimming & diving to net 117.75 points for the winter season. In the fall, the men's soccer team finished as national runner-up while the women's cross country team placed 23rd to yield a combined 141.0 points.
The Camels eclipsed their previous best of 279.5 points (65th place) from 2021-22, a year that was highlighted by the men's soccer team's run to the national title.
