Women's Water Polo Earns Highest GPA in the Country

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) released their Spring 2025 All-Academic List on Tuesday. The Connecticut College Women's Water Polo team had 11 players honored on the list and finished with the highest team GPA in the country at 3.77.

In order to qualify for the list, student-athletes must have an overall 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA and must have dressed once during the season.

Seven Camels who were honored finished with an outstanding GPA, which the ACWPC classifies as a GPA between 3.71 and 4.0, with three finishing with a superior GPA, between 3.41 and 3.70, and the final student-athlete finishing with an excellent GPA, between 3.20 and 3.40.

Maddie Baybeck (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Meiling Bottan (Lexington, Mass.), Brooke Brandenburger (Sacramento, Calif.), Ainsley Cornwall (San Mateo, Calif.) , Emma Luna (Wahiawa, Hawaii), Sarah Nagel (Honolulu, Hawaii), and Anna Taylor (Pleasanton, Calif.) finished with an outstanding GPA. Grace Isola (San Mateo, Calif.), Melia Lorch (Encinitas, Calif.), and Carly Schneider (Barrington, Ill.) finished with a superior GPA, while Jada Keen (Kealakekua, Hawaii) finished with an excellent GPA.
