NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's lacrosse program has earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad laurels.
Every school with a team grade point average of a 3.0 or higher received the recognition, and the Camels easily surpassed the standard by recording a 3.70 GPA.
Additionally, the Camels placed 12 student-athletes –

Aine Downey (Brookline, Mass.),
Elizabeth Gill (Hingham, Mass.),
Brogan Holbrough (Rochester, N.Y.),
Emma McDonnell (Stevenson, Md.),
Emma Ognibene (New Canaan, Conn.), Greta Pank
e (Milldale, Conn.),
Eliza Shamah (Acton, Mass.),
Suzie Smith (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), and
Sydney Weber (Hanover, Mass.) – on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. This is the second consecutive year that Bruce, Downey, Ognibene, Panke, Shamah, and Weber have earned the honor. Student-athletes who are a junior, senior, or graduate student and have a cumulative GPA of a 3.50 or better received the prestigious recognition.
Connecticut College graduated six seniors and is slated to return 15 letterwinners next season.
