Men's Squash Splits with Denison and Haverford at Connecticut Round Robin

NEW LONDON, Conn.-- The Connecticut College men's squash team returned to action, splitting two matches during the Connecticut Round Robin, falling to Denison on Saturday and defeating Haverford on Sunday.

It was a tight match throughout on Saturday against Denison, however Conn came out on the wrong side of three five-set matches, ultimately falling 8-1. Arman Sana (Richmond, Va.) picked up the lone win for the Camels, defeating Wylly Molten in five sets at eighth singles, while Noah Fish (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.), Thomas Overton III (New York, N.Y.), and Osiris Perez (Bronx, N.Y.) fell in five sets.

Conn bounced back on Sunday picking up a 6-3 win over Haverford. The Camels started strong, picking up straight set wins from Henry Pelletier (West Hartford, Conn.) and Sid Rewari (Mumbai, India) at first and second singles, while Adam Elkaliuoby (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Fish claimed 3-1 victories at third and fourth singles. Hayden Okurowski (Concord, Mass.) added a 3-1 win at seventh singles, while Ward McGill (Louisville, Ky.) closed out the match with a 3-1 decision at ninth singles.

Conn (4-7, 1-5 NESCAC) returns to match play action on Saturday, January 31st as the Camels host Hamilton at 12:00 p.m. in Luce Fieldhouse Squash Courts.
