WORCESTER, Mass. – The No. 13 Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team fell by a 198-102 final against Division I Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center.
The Camels came away with four individual wins on the day.
Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) posted a pair of first-place finishes while
Aiden Miller (Westfield, N.J.) and
Jack Mattison-Gulotta (Florence, Mass.) also nabbed victories.
Shea was first to the wall in the 100 breast (56.44) and 200 breast (2:04.81), winning both events by a combined .21 seconds. He also finished as runner-up in the 200 IM (1:54.71).
Miller took first place in the 200 free (1:43.48) and was a close second in the 100 free (47.77). Mattison-Gulotta took home the win in the 500 free (4:47.32) and also took second in the 200 fly (1:53.03).
Evan Lyons (Longmeadow, Mass.) and
Cam Bizjak (Willoughby, Ohio) also recorded runner-up finishes in the 1,000 free (9:51.15) and 1M dive (282.00), respectively.
Conn (6-1 overall) will next swim at Wesleyan University on Saturday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m.
