NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College senior
Liam Horkan (Malden, Mass.) was recognized as an honorable mention selection on Tuesday as USA Lacrosse Magazine announced its 2026 Men's Division III Preseason All-Americans.
Preseason All-Americans are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from collegiate coaches.
An All-NESCAC Second Team and USILA All-America Honorable Mention selection last season, Horkan led Conn's attack with a career-best 39 goals and eight assists for 47 points. He ranked seventh in the NESCAC in goals per game (2.60), and his goal total tied for ninth-most in a single season in school history. He also recorded eight multi-goal games, scored four or more goals in five contests, and notched his 100th career point at Coast Guard while netting a career-high eight goals.
Conn College, which finished with an overall record of 7-8 (2-8 NESCAC) last year, opens the 2026 season with a home game against the University of Hartford on Saturday, February 28 at 3:00 p.m.
