MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The No. 13 Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team cruised to a 211-80 victory over Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon at Webster Family Natatorium.

The Camels won 13 of 16 events and secured two pool records and one NESCAC record along the way. Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) led the team with three individual wins and also contributed to a relay victory. Aiden Miller (Westfield, N.J.), Dawson Rice (Wilbraham, Mass.) and Cam Bizjak (Willoughby, Ohio) also each supplied a pair of individual wins on the day.

Shea turned in wins in the 100 breast (56.49) and 200 breast (2:03.67) but saved his best for the 100 IM, where his time of 50.43 bested the NESCAC record set last weekend by Amherst's Owen Vale. He also swam the first leg of the 200 medley relay where the Camels posted a winning time of 1:35.66.

Bizjak notched pool records in both the 1M (361.35) and 3M (331.50) diving events and posted NCAA qualifying scores in each. Miller swam to victory in the 50 free (21.82) and 500 free (4:51.82) while Rice turned in wins in the 100 back (53:16) and 200 back (1:56.17).

Nicholas Holovacs (Hingham, Mass.) was the first to the wall in the 100 free (48.35) and contributed to both winning relay squads. Jack Mattison-Gulotta (Florence, Mass.) also took first place in the 1,000 free (9:52.29) to round out Conn's individual winners.

Conn (7-1 overall) will next compete at Wheaton College on Sunday, February 1 at noon.
