WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's cross country team finished second out of 15 teams at the James Earley Invitational on Saturday morning at Stanley Park.

With several Camels sitting out the event following last week's Pre-National, Conn's top-seven runners all finished inside the top 34 of the field. All seven posted career-best times on the 5K course, and five eclipsed the 20-minute mark.

She was closely followed by Kaya Schwenke (Mount Shasta, Calif.), Kate Moroney (Pleasantville, N.Y.) and Asa Bruno (Bloomingdale, N.Y.), who finished 19th-21st and clocked times of 19:32.8, 19:37.3 and 19:44.4, respectively. Lillian Pope (Amherst, Mass.) rounded out the scoring with a time of 19:51.3 and a 25th-place showing, and Zuzanna Kwasniewski (Addison, Ill.) and Brooke Gilroy (Bedford, N.H.) filled out Conn's top-7.

Williams took home the team title with a score of 24 points. Westfield State's Reese Stevens earned medalist honors with a time of 17:56.7.
