COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – More than 1,800 undergraduate student-athletes from 147 institutions—including 16 from Connecticut College—were named to the 2025 Division III National Academic Squad on Wednesday morning by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester. All student-athletes are nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Impressively, a total of 256 honorees earned the distinction for the fourth consecutive year. Four Camels were among this elite group, which included Holly Levasseur, Bridget McGann, Margaret Sadak and Sophia Stevens.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the association is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to be the organization that every field hockey coach looks to for the resources to grow in the game and the inspiration to stay in the game.
