Women's DMR Ranks Second in Nation After Busy Weekend in Boston

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's track and field team returned to action racing at the Tufts Cupid Challenge and the Boston University Valentine Invitational.

AT TUFTS

600 Meters

  • Katie Keating (Dorchester, Mass.) finished fifth with a time of 1:47.14.

  • Mia Wolpe (Sudbury, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 1:50.74.

1000 Meters

  • Greta Schmit (Hamburg, N.Y.) finished seventh with a time of 3:15.31.

  • Juliet Provost (Seekonk, Mass.) finished ninth with a time of 3:17.07.

5000 Meters

  • Mary Longeran (Andover, Mass.) finished 11th with a time of 18:51.25 setting a NE D3 minimum qualifying mark.

4x400 Relay

  • The group of Keating, Maddy Plotnick (Brookline, Mass.), Schmitt, and Julia Coyle (Pomfret Center, Conn.) finished fourth with a time of 4:29.80.

Distance Medley Relay

AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY

60 Meters

  • Blessing Kieh (Monrovia, Liberia) finished sixth with a time of 7.73.

200 Meters

  • Kieh finished 37th with a school record time of 25.17.

3000 Meters

  • McDonough finished 99th with a school record time of 9:43.39

Conn returns to action next weekend as the Camels take part in the Springfield Triangle Classic in Springfield, Mass.
