NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College junior Cam Bizjak (Willoughby, Ohio) took part in the NCAA Division III Region 3 Diving Championships over the past two days at Lott Natatorium.
Bizjak, who qualified for regionals for the third straight year, finished fifth in Friday's 3M (459.70) and sixth in Saturday's 1M (405.65). His final dive on the 1M board—an inward 2.5 somersault tuck—yielded his highest net score (60.45) of the weekend.
Conn College hosted the regional championships for the first time in school history. On the men's side, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy freshman Carter Kov won the 3M (500.00) while Tufts junior Jay Wilkinson captured the 1M (479.55). In the women's competition, MIT junior Fiora Beratahani won both the 1M (442.30) and 3M (485.90).
A select number of divers from each region will earn a berth at the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on March 18-21 in Indianapolis, IN. The announcement of the NCAA field of 24 divers will be made no later than Monday, March 2.
