INDIANAPOLIS – Three Camels will compete on the final night of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium.
Swimming in the final preliminary heat of the 200 breaststroke,
Carrick Shea (Grafton, Mass.) and
Julian Carlson (Brookline, Mass.) finished 1-2 and both earned spots in tonight's championship final. Shea will swim in his third final of the championship, while Carlson will partake in his first.
Shea turned in the fastest time of the morning session with a 1:57.60, just under half a second faster than his nearest competitor. Carlson's time of 1:58.40 was a season best and the fifth-fastest of the 28 entrants.
Evan Lyons (Longmeadow, Mass.) will also return to action in tonight's final heat of the 1,650 freestyle. He entered the meet with the third-fastest seed time in the event and will look to land a spot on the NCAA podium for the first time in his career.
