Men's Track & Field Finishes Sixth at Jaylin Rainford Invite

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Connecticut College men's track and field team totaled 52 points to finish sixth at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational hosted by Bryant University.

200 Meters

  • Lucas Doben (Longmeadow, Mass.) finished second with a time of 21.81.

  • Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.) finished sixth with a time of 22.41.

  • Joseph Rosw-Provey (Fairfield, Conn.) finished seventh with a time of 22.51.

400 Meters

800 Meters

  • David Iacino (Burlington, Conn.) finished ninth with a time of 1:57.27.

1500 Meters

  • Josh Barzilai (Princeton, N.J.) finished ninth with a time of 4:11.15 earning NESCAC qualification.

Steeplechase

5000 Meters

  • Nicholas DeMarco (Albany, N.Y.) finished third with a time of 15:48.20.

  • Ozan Turner (Concord, Mass.) finished eighth with a time of 16:28.87.

  • Deem Quinn (Cranston, R.I.) finished ninth with a time of 16:45.15.

110 Hurdles

  • Evan Rawling (Mansfield, Mass.) finished seventh with a time of 15.97.

400 Hurdles

  • Owen Phelan (North Andover, Mass.) finished sixth with a time of 1:00.42.

4x100 Relay

  • The group of Dylan Haime (Bronx, N.Y.), Doben, Jamal Bakar (Valatie, N.Y.), and Dorow claimed victory with a time of 42.04.

  • Declan Leclair (Westminster, Mass.) finished 10th with a throw of 46.33m.

Conn returns to action next weekend as the Camels make the short trip to take part in the Coast Guard Spring Invite.
