NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and The Hidden Opponent hosted a pickleball tournament fundraiser last week in Luce Field House.
The tournament, which was held on March 26, featured groups of student-athletes teaming up with at least one faculty or staff member. A total of 18 teams entered the single-elimination tournament, but it was the squad of Arjun Premkumar, Noa Hoshino and Molly Holt that proved victorious.
The tournament raised $200 for The Hidden Opponent, which is a non-profit organization for athlete mental health advocacy, education, and support, through accessible resources, while uniting a global community to empower athletes to prioritize their mental health and shatter the stigma within sports culture.
