NEW LONDON, Conn. – Three individuals and one relay squad from the Connecticut College women's track and field program have been selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 13-14 in Birmingham, AL.

Seniors Alexa Estes (Virginia Beach, Va.) and Grace McDonough (Londonderry, N.H.) qualified in the 800m and mile, respectively, and will be joined by juniors Alina Newman (Santa Monica, Calif.) and Lilla Kate Tucker (Marietta, Ga.) for the distance medley relay. Sophomore Blessing Kieh (Monrovia, Liberia) will also pull double duty, having qualified in both the 60m and 200m events.

Estes, who will take part in the 800m for the third straight year, enters the championships ranked 13th with a seed time of 2:11.22. She finished 10th in the event in 2025 and 14th in 2024.

McDonough ranks sixth in the mile with a seed time of 4:50.32. Last season she finished third overall in the event despite suffering a fall in the early stages of the race.

Kieh will compete for the first time at the NCAA indoor championships. She is seeded fifth in the 60m (7.55) and 18th in the 200m (24.63).

Conn's distance medley relay squad will make its third consecutive NCAA appearance. The Camels, who finished third in the event last year, own the sixth-fastest seed time (11:35.77) in the country.

For each women's individual event contested, including the pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the championships. For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the championships.

The championships will be held March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama with the Southern Athletic Association and the Birmingham CrossPlex serving as hosts. Tickets can be purchased in advance, and NCAA.com will video stream both days of the championships.
