Camels Fall to No. 6 Bowdoin in Men's Tennis

Box Score BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Connecticut College men's tennis team fell by a 7-0 final against No. 6 Bowdoin College on Saturday afternoon in a NESCAC showdown at the Pickard Tennis Courts. 

Conn's lone victory of the day came at the No. 2 doubles spot, where the duo of Nikolai Kahrs (Oslo, Norway) and Edward Petersen (Cape Town, South Africa) posted a 6-3 decision over Andrew Mendelsen and Lucas Riezbeek. It marked the first doubles win for the tandem and moved their record to 1-1 on the year. 

Bates secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 3 spots before sweeping through singles in straight sets at each position. The Polar Bears improved to 9-3 overall (4-1 NESCAC).

Conn (3-11 overall, 0-5 NESCAC) will next play at Colby College on Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m.
