Larson and 4x400 Relay Leads Men's Track and Field at Silfen Invitational

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's track and field team returned home for the 2026 Silfen Invitational.

100 Meters

  • Jamal Bakar (Valatie, N.Y.) finished sixth with a time of 10.95.

200 Meters

  • Lucas Doben (Longmeadow, Mass.) finished second with a time of 21.89.

  • Luke Alban (Piedmont, Calif.) finished fourth with a time of 22.52.

  • Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.) finished fifth with a time of 22.61.

400 Meters

  • Dorow finished fifth with a time of 51.90.

  • Wesley Schreiber (New York, N.Y.) finished seventh with a time of 52.03.

  • David Iacino (Burlington, Conn.) finished 10th with a time of 52.32.

400m Hurdles

  • Owen Phelan (North Andover, Mass.) finished 10th with a time of 1:00.45.

800 Meters Elite

  • Iacino finished fourth with a time of 1:54.61.

  • Malcolm Frank-McKnight (Milton, Mass.) finished 10th with a time of 1:57.69.

800 Meters

  • Alex Santos Acosta (West Hempstead, N.Y.) finished fourth with a time of 2:04.64.

  • Dax Arnold (New York, N.Y.) finished fifth with a time of 2:05.18.

1500 Meters Elite

  • Santos Acosta finished 15th with a time of 4:14.19.

1500 Meters

5000 Meters Elite

110 Hurdles

  • Declan Leclair (Westminster, Mass.) finished ninth with a time of 16.88.

Steeplechase

4x100 Relay

4x400 Relay

  • The group of Frank-McKnight, Finn Reiter (Modena, N.Y.), Doben, and Alban claimed victory with a time of 3:24.63.

High Jump

Long Jump

  • Erorol Apostolopoulos (Marblehead, Mass.) finished fourth with a jump of 6.36m.

Pole Vault

  • Anders Larson (Concord, N.H.) claimed victory clearing a height of 4.55m.

Discus

  • Abi Perez (Derby, Conn.) finished 11th with a throw of 36.41m.

Javelin

  • Leclair finished seventh with a throw of 46.03m.

Conn returns to action next weekend, as the Camels travel to compete in the Trinity Invitational in Hartford, Conn.
