WORCESTER, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's rowing team placed third at the Donahue Cup on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.

The finish was one of the strongest in the program's recent history. The crews were le by a talented group of coxswains—Caroline Lee (Danvers, Mass.) in the 1V8, Pilar Young (Swampscott, Mass.) in the 2V8 and Elinor Rasevic (Bethesda, Md.) in the 3V8—who all navigated the races with grit and tenacity.

The Camels finished behind Williams and WPI in both the 1V8 and 2V8 races. Conn's top boat clocked a time of 7:00.21 and finished just over five seconds behind WPI, while the 2V8 crew was four seconds behind WPI and crossed the finish in 7:02.27.
