WORCESTER, Mass. – After a solid week of training, the Connecticut College women's rowing team finished third out of four teams on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.

Conn's three crews raced with intensity and all picked up third-place finishes on the day. The 1V8 boat clocked in at 7:07.94 and finished 5.5 seconds out of the runner-up spot, while the 2V8 squad crossed the finish in 7:23.73 and six seconds out of second place. The 3V8 boat logged a time of 7:53.49 and fell 2.5 seconds shy of edging WPI for second. 

Colby led the pack in all three races, followed by WPI and Conn. Clark rounded out the field with fourth-place finishes in the 1V8 and 2V8 events.

Conn will have two weeks to prepare for the New England Rowing Championships on Saturday, May 2 at Lake Quinsigamond.
