GREENE, Maine -- The Connecticut College men's rowing team competed at the Bates Invite on Sunday morning on the Androscoggin River.

Facing difficult conditions that included a slight tailwind and heavy rain, the Camels competed in five races during the round robin event. In the first round against Bowdoin, the 1V8 boat finished second with a time of 6:14 while the 2V8 boat clocked in at 6:30 to beat the Polar Bears. Conn then took on Bates in the second round and finished runner-up in both the 1V8 (6:23) and 2V8 (6:51) heats. The Camels also took third place in the M4+ and crossed the finish line in 7:34.

Conn returns to action against WPI on Saturday, April 25 at Lake Quinsigamond.
