WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Connecticut College men's rowing team competed at the McCarthy/McGee Cup on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.

The Camels placed fourth out of five boats in the 1V8 race, crossing the finish in a time of 6:40.14. Conn also took fourth place in the 2V8 race (6:53.73) and finished runner-up in the 1V4 (7:58.92), besting boats from WPI and UMass.

The event served as a final tune up before the Camels return to the water for the New England Rowing Championship on Saturday, May 2 at Lake Quinsigamond.
