AMHERST, Mass. — The Connecticut College men's tennis team wrapped up the season with a 7-0 setback against No. 18 Amherst College on Sunday afternoon at the Amherst Tennis Courts.
The Mammoths captured the doubles point and went on to secure the match with straight-set victories on all six singles courts. Amherst improved to 12-5 overall on the season and 7-3 in league play.
In singles,
Arjun Premkumar (Banaglore, India) put up a fight against George Chaidemenos at the No. 2 spot but fell by a 7-5, 6-2 tally.
Kristian Brondmo (Haslum, Norway) also took five games off Aldiyar Abzhan at No 4.
Conn finished the season with an overall record of 3-16 (0-10 NESCAC).
