CLEVELAND – The Learfield Directors' Cup winter standings for Division III were released earlier this week, and Connecticut College sits in 70th place out of the 271 institutions that are ranked.

Following a strong performance by the men's swimming & diving team this winter, the Camels checked in with 179.0 points in the latest release. Conn picked up 60.0 points from the squad's 15th-place finish at the NCAA Championships in March.

Standings are derived from results at NCAA Championships throughout the year. In the fall, the men's soccer team advanced to the Sweet 16 while the women's cross country team placed 19th to yield a combined 119.0 points.    

The final Learfield Directors' Cup standings will be released on June 9, following the completion of spring championships.
