CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's and women's track and field teams had two individuals and one relay compete at the MIT Final Qualifier on Thursday evening.
Abby Fernald (Avon, Conn.) was the first to hit the track running in the 1500 meters. Fernald was steady throughout the race and finished in seventh place with a time of 4:43.47 in her final collegiate meet.
Next on the track for the Camels was Blessing Kieh (Monrovia, Liberia) who raced in the 100 meter dash. Kieh finished third in the preliminary with a time of 12.05, before finishing third in the finals with a time of 12.07.
The men's 4x400 relay closed out the night, running in the final event. The group of Joseph Rosw-Provey (Fairfield, Conn.), Lucas Doben (Longmeadow, Mass.), Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.), and Malcolm Frank-McKnight (Milton, Mass.) finished fourth with a time of 3:21.06.
Conn will await qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships which begin on Thursday, May 21 in La Crosse, Wis.
