SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's track and field team finished 14th with 19 points at the 2026 New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Anderson Larson (Concord, N.H.) got the weekend started for Conn with a sixth place finish in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.55m to earn All-New England honors.
Friday night on the track, the Camels had three All-New England performers. In the 5000 meters, both Josh Barzilai (Princeton, N.J.) and Tristen McDonough (Lincoln, R.I.) finished fifth and sixth, with times of 15:36.77 and 15:48.31 respectively. Brendan Capodanno (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) added a fourth place finish in the 10000 meters, crossing the line in a time of 32:38.38.
Conn started strong on day two, opening up with a fourth place finish in the 4x100 relay. The group of Luke Alban (Piedmont, Calif.), Lucas Doben (Longmeadow, Mass.), Jamal Bakar (Valatie, N.Y.), and Ty Dorow (Barrington, N.H.) finished with a time of 42.18 to earn All-New England honors.
Conn returns to action next weekend for two meets, competing at the NEICAAA Championships and the Farley Inter Regional, with both beginning on Friday.
