NEW LONDON, Conn. – Twelve Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams on Tuesday.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Receiving the honor for the Camels were senior

Bridget McGann of field hockey and women's ice hockey, junior
Becan O'Brien of men's lacrosse, senior
Sebastian Parilov of men's water polo, senior
Serena Seiple of women's ice hockey, senior
Reid Shafer of men's ice hockey, junior
Pete Stanger of men's ice hockey and senior
Anna Taylor of women's water polo.
McGann earned the distinction for the third time in her career. Ellis, Luna and Parilov were repeat selections while the rest earned at-large honors for the first time.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and meet the participation threshold for their particular sport. NCAA eligible sports for at-large team consideration include women's bowling, women's crew/rowing, men's and women's fencing, women's field hockey, men's and women's golf, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rifle, men's and women's skiing, men's volleyball, men's and women's water polo, and men's wrestling.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in July.
