NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College men's soccer goalkeeper coach Lee Elliott has been elevated to Assistant Men's Soccer Coach as announced by Head Coach Reuben Burk and Director of Athletics Mo White.
Elliott will enter his fifth season with the Camels, after spending the previous four years as the team's goalkeeper coach.
"I am incredibly honored and excited to be promoted to Assistant Coach of Connecticut College Men's Soccer," said Elliott. "I would like to sincerely thank head coach Reuben Burk for believing in me and providing me with this opportunity. His trust and confidence mean a great deal and I am eager to begin fully working alongside him, the staff, and the student-athletes."
Over his first four seasons, Elliott helped guide Conn to four NESCAC tournament appearances, three NESCAC Championship game appearances, and three NCAA tournament appearances. In 2024, the Camels captured the program's first NESCAC title and reached the National Championship game, while the coaching staff of Burk, Elliott, and Andrew Storton were named United Soccer Coaches National Coaching Staff of the Year.
"Over the last 4 seasons, Lee has selflessly served the team in a volunteer capacity, but has truly gone above and beyond," said Burk. "He has grown so much in terms of on-field coaching, developing relationships with players, and helping the staff with planning logistics off the field. Lee has been a big part of our success and has gained valuable experience going to three NESCAC Finals, one National Championship Final, and winning the 2024 NESCAC Championship. As our goalkeeper coach, he took goalkeeper Peter Silvester '25 under his wing and helped Peter earn the 2024 NCAA Final Four Defensive MVP Award. My friendship with Lee has grown so much over the four years because of his demonstrated loyalty, care, passion, and growth mindset. I'm very excited for Lee to step-up and gain valuable experience recruiting, scouting, and leading the team!"
