NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Connecticut College men's and women's cross country teams—along with seven individual members—were recognized for their academic achievements by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced by the organization on Monday. 

Both programs were named 2026 All-Academic Teams. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. The Camels checked in with team GPAs of 3.67 on the women's side and 3.55 on the men's.

All seven individuals honored came from the women's program, with Alexa Estes, Blessing Kieh, Grace McDonough, Alina Newman, Kiera Tallas, Lilla Kate Tucker, and Abby Williams all being selected. Estes and McDonough both earned the distinction for the fourth time in their careers, while Tucker landed her third honors, and Kieh and Tallas were repeat selections.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and have (1) competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or (2) finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or in the national top-35 in a relay event on TFRRS.
