NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College first-year 2-Meter Jack Dillon (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Week as announced by the league on Monday evening.

Dillon helped Conn to a 1-1 mark at the Connecticut College Invite on Saturday. In the opener against Division 1 Iona, Dillon tallied one goal, before chipping in two goals in a 24-13 win over Wheaton in the nightcap.

Dillon is the third Camel to earn Newcomer of the Week honors this season, after Laird Welch and Andrew Rose.

Conn (3-5) returns to action on Saturday as the Camels travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Brown at 12:00 p.m. for the first of three games across the weekend.
