Biography
2022-23:
Named to the NESCAC All-Academic Team … named to the CSC Academic All-District Team … participated in nine meets … competed in seven events at the NESCAC Championship and qualified for the consolation finals in the 50 breast (26.28) and the 50 free (21.27), finishing 14th in both … clocked in with a season-best time in the 100 breast (58.53), the fastest by a Conn swimmer all season … also swam on four relay squads, including the 200 free team that finished sixth and the 200 medley team that placed seventh.
2021-22:
Named to the NESCAC All-Academic Team … participated in eight meets … competed in seven events at the NESCAC Championship and posted season-best times in the 50 fly (22.70), 100 fly (52.47) and 50 free (20.99) … turned in his fastest 100 free (47.20) time of the season as the leadoff leg of the 400 free relay … also swam in the 200 free and 200 medley relays.
2020-21:
Named to the NESCAC All-Academic Team … season canceled due to COVID-19.
2019-20:
Participated in nine meets … competed in seven events at the NESCAC Championship and recorded season-best times in the 50 fly (23.25), 100 fly (52.44), 50 free (22.02) and 100 free (48.93) … his time in the 50 fly was the fastest by a Conn swimmer all season … also swam in the 200 free, 400 free and 200 medley relays.
High School:
Four-year letterwinner at New Paltz … two-time team captain who registered personal-best times of 22.24 in the 50 free and 53.68 in the 100 fly … also lettered in track & field all four years and in soccer for three years … helped the track & field team win a conference championship and captained the soccer program as a senior … honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society.
Personal:
Major is undeclared … enjoys exercising … favorite athlete is Michael Phelps … plans to become a doctor after graduation.
