"Connecticut College coed and women's sailing competes in the NEISA, and we are very fortunate to have our sailing facility on campus. This allows our student-athletes to take classes and be part of the community before they walk to practice. Our facility is home to two 18-boat fleets of Flying Juniors and Z420s, which are both fleets made by Laser Performance. Having two full fleets allows us to host national level and New England championships as well as qualifying and minor events. We keep up to 36 student-athletes on our roster that sail on the women's or coed team. Our teams are ranked nationally each year and make solid bids to win national championships. We have had five Olympians along with a plethora of All-Americans, All-NEISA selections, and NESCAC All-Academic Team award winners in our storied history. With two full-time coaches and several volunteer alums, we take pride in helping our sailors guide their path through college and intercollegiate sailing.
