"Competing for the swimming and diving team at Connecticut College is about one thing - striving to be your best when the team needs you the most. This is a fairly unique way to look at our sport and requires a unique way of training. You will work closely with the coaching staff to plan your season and contribution to the team. No two paths are exactly the same, and we embrace those differences and that diversity of experience. Our teams are filled with highly ambitious people who have a competitive fire to fulfill both their academic and athletic potentials. The incredible number of Scholar All-Americans and NCAA All-Americans are a testament to that devotion, but the real focus is on the striving. The lasting impact from being a Camel Swimmer or Diver comes from getting very good at chasing something. At Conn, we see that pursuit result in tons of academic and athletic awards, while after graduation, our Camels chase excellence in medical school, law school, MBA programs, and many other fields.
