Biography
2020:
Season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2019:
Competed in seven meets and emerged to become one of the team’s top five runners as a sophomore … Posted 8,000-meter times of 27:46.5 at the Bates Super Cross Country Shootout (9/14) and 26:55 at the Purple Valley Classic (9/28) … Registered a collegiate-best 8k mark of 26:04.1 at the Louisville Classic (10/5) … Navigated an 8k course in 27:01.3 at the Connecticut College Invitational (10/19) … Had a breakthrough performance at the NESCAC Championships (11/2) by placing 39th in the field and third on the team in 26:55 … Finished 87th overall and third on the squad for the second straight meet by punching in a time of 26:37.7 at the NCAA New England Regional Championships (11/16).
2018:
Raced five times as a freshman … Made collegiate debut at the Bantam Invitational (9/8), finishing 25th overall and fifth on the team in a 5k time of 18:33.9 … Notched 8k marks of 30:15.1 at the Purple Valley Classic (9/22), 30:50.6 at the Maine State Invitational (9/29), and 27:25.9 at the Connecticut College Invitational (10/13) … Hit the tape 114th overall and was the seventh Camel to cross the finish line in 28:09.6 at the NESCAC Championships (10/27).
High School:
Was a three-year letterwinner in cross country and a four-year letterwinner in track & field at The Pingry School … Captained the indoor and outdoor track & field teams as a senior … Posted a personal-best 5k time of 17:03 in cross country as well as 1:54 in the 800-meter run and 4:21 in the 1,600 on the track … Was also a member of the swimming team for two seasons and lettered in soccer for one year.
Personal:
Majoring in International Relations and minoring in Chinese … Is also enrolled in the CISLA Pathway … Enjoys listening to music as well as playing video games and soccer … Favorite athlete is Craig Engles … Plans to become a diplomat after graduation.
