Competed in six meets and was among the team’s top five runners as a junior … Made the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team … Placed ninth overall and third on the team in season debut by clocking in an 8,000-meter time of 26:30.4 at the Bates Super Cross Country Shootout (9/14) … Finished third on the squad and 57th overall in 27:56.3 at the Purple Valley Classic (9/28) … Was the fifth Camel to cross the finish line by hitting the tape in 26:31.4 at the Louisville Classic (10/5) … Notched a 73rd-place finish, which ranked fifth on the team, with a collegiate-best 8k time of 25:54.5 at the Connecticut College Invitational (10/19) … Placed 48th overall and fifth on the squad by navigating an 8k circuit in 27:03.8 at the NESCAC Championships (11/2) … Was seventh on the team with an 8k mark of 27:02.6 at the NCAA Regional Championships (11/16).
2018:
Raced three times as a sophomore … Finished fifth on the team in season debut with an 8k mark of 28:04.4 at the Purple Valley Classic (9/22) … Completed the team’s top seven with a 43rd-place time of 27:16.1 at the Maine State Invitational (9/29) … Circled an 8k course in 29:30.8 at the NESCAC Championships (10/27).
2017:
Competed in five meets as a freshman … Led the Camels with a 14th-place finish by navigating a 5k course in 17:29.9 at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational (9/9) … Finished 11th in the subvarsity race of the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (9/16) by completing his first 8k in 27:45.1 … Competed at the Paul Short Run (9/29) and the Connecticut College Invitational (10/14), crossing the line in 28:01.2 and 28:24.3, respectively… Notched a time of 28:47.6 at the NESCAC Championships (10/28) to conclude the fall.
High School:
Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Northampton … Team captain for both programs who had personal-best times of 16:20 in the 5k, 4:34 in the Mile, and 10:10 in the 2-Mile … Was named rookie of the year and team MVP … Cross country program was regional champions … Also lettered in ultimate frisbee for two seasons … Member of the National Honor Society.
Personal:
Majoring in Architectural Studies and minoring in Art … Enjoys playing video games and spikeball … Favorite athlete is Matt Centro … Plans to become an architect after graduation.
