All-America Second Team in the 800 free relay … All-NESCAC in the 800 free relay … participated in 10 meets as a first year … competed in two events at the NCAA Championship … swam on the 800 free relay that finished 15th and earned All-America honors … also finished 32nd in the 500 free (4:36.15) … competed in seven events at the NESCAC Championship and recorded season-best times in the 500 free (4:31.24) and 1,000 free (9:16.85) … qualified for the championship final in the 500 free and finished fifth … finished fourth in the 1,000 free and eighth in the 1,650 free … also swam in the 200 free, 400 free, 800 free and 400 medley relays … helped the 800 free relay (6:34.44) to a runner-up finish while breaking the school record … clocked his fastest time in the 1,650 free (16:02.84) in the double dual meet against Coast Guard and Amherst.
