Spencer Shore

Spencer Shore enters her first season as assistant coach of the Connecticut College women’s basketball program in 2024-25. A former player and graduate assistant coach at Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y., she joined the Camels in May 2024.

A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Shore spent the past two seasons on the Manhattanville sidelines under head coach Kate Vlahakis. During that time the Valiants posted a combined overall record of 44-8 that included a 35-3 mark in league play, resulting in back-to-back Skyline Conference Championship finals appearances.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Shore played four seasons for Vlahakis from 2017 to 2022 and totaled 894 career points in 103 games. One of the top long-range shooters in school history, she holds the program record for career three-point field goals (195) and shot 34 percent from beyond the arc. In her final season she averaged a career-high 11.9 points per game and made a then-school record 66 three-pointers to earn Skyline Conference Second Team honors.

A proven leader both on and off the court, Shore was selected as Manhattanville's Dante Pacicca Sportsmanship Award winner for the 2019-20 academic year. The guard was recognized on conference Academic Honor Rolls four times, including twice on the MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll and another two appointments to the Skyline Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
