At Connecticut College:
Has helped on campus as a tour guide, circulation desk assistant at Shain Library, an interlibrary loan assistant, English Department assistant, and as an intern with the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention … Also involved with SafetyNet, Her Campus, and the Womxn’s Empowerment Initiative.
2020-21:
Competed in all four regattas in either the bow seat or second seat of the second varsity eight boat … Made the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team for the second straight year … Was in the bow seat for the winning second varsity eight which completed a 2,000-meter circuit in 8:27.8 against Assumption (4/10) at Lake Quinsigamond … Competed for the second varsity eight in the second seat at the NESCAC East Championships (5/1) on the Malden River.
High School:
Two-year letterwinner, primarily competing from the bow seat, at Canterbury School … Also lettered in cross country and swimming all four years as well as tennis and track & field for one season … Captained the rowing, swimming, and cross country programs as a senior … Honor roll student … Won the Nelson Hume Speech Competition Award, the Edward F. Mack Award for outstanding contributions to the Women of Canterbury, and the English Essay Award … Also helped as a student proctor, peer mentor, and tour guide.
Personal:
Majoring in English and Gender, Sexuality, and Intersectionality Studies … Enjoys running, hiking, writing, skiing, watching Netflix, and spending time with friends and family … Favorite athlete is Anita DeFrantz … Hopes to potentially begin a professional career in law, social justice, education, or public health after graduation.
