Lasusa also coached several all-conference players, along with the 2022 Wetzel Award winner for the most improved player in the CSA, as well as a CSA Team Sportsmanship award.
Prior to his time in D.C. Lasusa spent four years as the assistant coach of both the men's and women's squash teams at Yale University, contributing to the development and success of one of the nation's top collegiate squash teams. Additionally, in his time with the Bulldogs, Lasusa coached numerous All-Ivy League and All-Americans.
A native of New York City, Lasusa graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2016, and captained the squash team to its highest-ever national ranking, leading the Saints to #1 in the country and to the 2016 National Semifinals, showcasing his leadership and skill on the court. After graduation, Lasusa played on both the PSA World Tour and SDA Pro Tour in both singles and doubles, reaching the US Singles National Championship quarterfinals in 2017.
