Is heavily involved throughout campus life … Member of the Student Government Association, Honor Council, Womxn’s Empowerment Initiative, theLook Magazine,
Akwaaba Magazine, N20, and ConnArtists, which is the school’s co-ed a cappella group … Has also been a Student Advisor and helps in the Athletic Center as a fitness center and front desk monitor.
2020-21 (Outdoors):
Competed in four meets as a senior … Earned a place on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team … Posted collegiate-best marks of 52-feet, 1-inch in the javelin throw at the Connecticut College Quad Meet (4/17), 77-6 in the discus throw at the Trinity Quad Meet (4/24), and 31-3 in the shot put at a Tufts Quad Meet (5/1).
2020-21 (Indoors):
Season was canceled due to COVID-19 … Made the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
High School:
Two-year letterwinner as a thrower at Phillips Exeter Academy … Registered personal-best marks of 29-feet, 9-inches in the shot put and 86 feet in the discus throw … Also lettered in basketball for four years as well as volleyball and rowing for two years … Graduated with honors … Member of the Black Student Union and Feminist Society … Was involved with the school’s a cappella group and chorus … Also helped as a student listener and proctor.
Personal:
Majoring in American Studies and minoring in Power and Knowledge … Is also enrolled in the Power and Knowledge Pathway … Enjoys reading and photography … Favorite athlete is Serena Williams … Plans to attend law school after graduation.
