Alex Cabezas joins the Connecticut College men’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2026 season. He brings 15 years of local coaching experience to the Camels, highlighted mainly by a 14-year tenure as the assistant coach at Norwich Free Academy, followed by serving as the program's head coach in 2024. A 2000 graduate of NFA, he played varsity soccer for the Wildcats during his senior year. His soccer roots began playing at the youth academy level in Ambato, Ecuador, representing Club Técnico Universitario at the U15 and U18 levels. After taking the 2025 season off, he is excited to return to the sidelines and contribute to the Camels' success in the NESCAC.
