Erin Dietz begins her first season as assistant coach for the Connecticut College women's basketball program in 2026-27.
Dietz joins the Camels following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant coach at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The Cardinals boasted an overall record of 42-14 during her two seasons and made an NCAA Championship appearance in 2025.
Dietz was involved in all aspects of the program at Catholic, including practice planning and execution, scouting, recruiting, and fundraising. She also compiled game and practice film for individual and team review, prepared both written and video scouting reports, and conducted individual workouts for athletes focusing on skill development.
In her first season at Catholic the program finished 15th in NPI and ranked as high as No. 10 in both the WBCA and D3Hoops.com Top 25 Polls. The Cardinals won 15 Landmark Conference games and reached the title round of the Landmark Championship, ultimately earning an NCAA at-large bid and competing in the tournament for the seventh time in program history. A native of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Dietz played four years of basketball at Bridgewater College and served as team captain in her final season. She graduated from Bridgewater in 2022 with a degree in business administration and earned a master's degree in management from Catholic in 2026.
