NEW LONDON, Conn. --The Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team hosted the Williams College Ephs for a showdown of NESCAC rivals in Lott Natatorium. The Ephs, who finished eighth at the 2012 NCAA Championship, defeated the Camels 190-98.
Junior Sam Gill (Springfield, Ill.) and freshman Loring Bowen (Summit, N.J.) were multiple event winners for the Camels.
Gill triumphed in both the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly with respective times of 21.48 and 50.72 seconds. Bowen triumphed in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke with times of 53.38 seconds and 1:55.81. In the 200 yard breaststroke, Dylan Steiner (Petaluma, Calif.) won with a time of 2:12.42 for Connecticut College.
