NAPLES, Fla. --The Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team collected a 145-60 victory against Grinnell College in Naples, Florida Tuesday.
Freshman Loring Bowen (Summit, N.J.) paved the way to the victory, winning three events for the Camels.
Bowen triumphed in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 53.35 seconds. In the 200 and 500 yard free, Bowen prevailed victorious with respective times of 1:46.53 and 4:49.81.
Junior All-American Sam Gill (Springfield, Ill.) won both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle with respective times of 21.79 and 47.55 seconds.
In the 100 yard breast, Dylan Steiner (Petaluma, Calif.) posted a winning time of 1:00.55. Sean Paquette (Middletown, R.I.) won the 100 yard backstroke in 53.33 seconds.
In the 1000 yard freestyle, Kevin Saunders (Wethersfield, Conn.) posted a time of 10:34.11 en route to a Camel victory.
Sean Paquette, Kirk Czelewicz (Lowell, Mass.), Joey Blair (Brunswick, Maine) and Sam Gill teamed up with a winning time of 1:37.42 in the 200 yard medley relay.
The Camels will visit Southern Connecticut State University Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. dual meet.
