ERIE, Pa.--The Connecticut College women's water polo team played two more matches at Penn State-Behrend Saturday. In the first match, the Camels (4-6) defeated Carthage College 12-7. Washington and Jefferson knocked off Connecticut College 10-8 decision in the second match.
Rookie net-minder Ashley Amey (Napa, Calif.) made five blocks to go along with one steal in the Camel victory. Senior Pam Lovejoy (Guilford, Conn.) had four blocks and one assist in the triumph.
Sophomore Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) scored six goals and had two steals, three assists and one earned ejection in the win against the Lady Reds.
Sam Pierce (Windsor, Conn.) registered three goals, four steals and three earned ejections. Kelsey Millward (Baie-d'Urfe, Quebec) had two goals, two assists, five steals and a pair of earned ejections in the win. Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) scored a goal, and added two assists, one steal and one earned ejection.
Lovejoy stopped six shots and had one steal in the loss to the Presidents of W & J. Jasbon finished with three goals, four steals, two assists and five earned ejections. Millward scored three goals to go with three steals, one block and one earned ejection. Kristin Lampley (Reading, Pa.) finished with a goal, two thefts, a blocked shot and one earned ejection.
Pierce added a goal, three steals, a blocked shot and one earned ejection. Isabelle Baneux (Ithaca, N.Y.) recorded two steals in the loss.
