ERIE, Pa.--The Connecticut College women's water polo won a pair of match at Penn State-Behrend University in Erie Sunday. In the early match, the Camels routed Utica in an 18-5 triumph. Connecticut College (6-6) defeated the Macalester College Scots 10-7 in the second half of its doubleheader in the Keystone State.
Senior All-American Kristin Lampley (Reading, Pa.) erupted with six goals, four blocked shots, four steals, and three earned ejections in Sunday's action. Kelsey Millward, the reigning Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Rookie of the Week, had five goals, four steals, three assists and a blocked shot to go with three earned ejections. Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) chipped in with four goals, seven assists and an earned ejection.
Sam Pierce (Windsor, Conn.) registered four goals to go with three steals and a blocked shot for the Camels. Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.), the reigning CWPA Division III Player of the Week found the back of the net with three goals and added six assists and seven steals.
Senior Gracie Miller (Sudbury, Mass.) had three goals and one steal for Connecticut College. Megan Wright (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) added a goal, a steal, two assists and one earned ejection for the Camels. Senior Maia Taft (Lexington, Mass.) checked in with two steals, one goal and one assist.
Senior net-minder Pam Lovejoy (Guilford, Conn.) had seven saves and one assist in three full quarters of action in the cage. Ashley Amey (Napa, Calif.) made 11 saves to go along with one assist and one steal in five quarters of play.
