KENOSHA, Wis.--The Connecticut College women's water polo team (12-6) swept its six matches at the Carthage College round robin in Kenosha this weekend.
Sunday, the Camels defeated Macalester 14-5 before they closed out the weekend with a 15-5 triumph over Carthage. Connecticut College out-scored its competition 87-to-32 this weekend and has reeled off eight consecutive victories for Head Coach JJ Addison's squad.
The Camels defeated Washington & Jefferson College in overtime, 10-8. They prevailed in an 11-9 victory against Grove City College and routed Penn State-Behrend in a 19-3 triumph before closing out Saturday by hammering Utica in an 18-2 triumph.
Sophomore Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) erupted with 23 goals, 14 earned ejections, 13 steals, eight assists and two blocked shot to lead the Camels in the six wins.
Kelsey Millward (Baie-d'Urfe, Quebec) exploded with 15 goals, 14 steals, 10 assists and 10 earned ejections.
Senior All-American Kristin Lampley (Reading, Pa.) chipped in with 11 goals, 12 steals, nine blocked shots, five assists and seven earned ejections.
Sam Pierce (Windsor, Conn.) contributed with 10 goals, eight steals, four earned ejections, three assists and one blocked shot.
Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) racked up seven goals, nine assists, seven steals and three earned ejections.
Gracie Miller (Sudbury, Mass.) checked in with four goals, four steals, one assist and one earned ejection.
Isabelle Baneux (Ithaca, N.Y.) added four steals, four assists, four goals and two earned ejections for the Camels.
Abigail Wrobleski (Saline, Mich.) finished with four goals, one assist and one steal.
Megan Wright (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) chipped in with four earned ejections, seven steals and two assists. Maia Taft (Lexington, Mass.) had six steals, two assists, two blocked shots and one goal scored. Ciara Beaulieu (Windsor, Conn.) added five goals, two steals, one assist and one earned ejection.
Sophomore Karen Cardona (Chicago, Ill.) registered one goal and one assist while Naomi Krieger (South Pasadena, Calif.) chipped in with one steal and one earned ejection.
Pam Lovejoy (Guilford, Conn.) stopped 19 shots in four matches while rookie net-minder Ashley Amey (Napa, Calif.) added 12 stops in the victory against Grove City.
