Connecticut College 4, Hamilton College 0 Chester Posts Shutout with 24 Save Effort for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Katherine Chester (Mendham, N.J.) collected 12 of her 24 saves in the opening period to lead the Connecticut College women's hockey team to a 4-0 victory against Hamilton College at Dayton Arena Saturday.

The Camels remain undefeated with a record of 2-0-2 (2-0-2 NESCAC) while the Continentals fall to 0-3-1 (0-3-1 NESCAC) with the setback.

First year forward Kate Kohl (Chelmsford, Mass.) potted a pair of goals for the winning side. Julie Beattie (Livonia, Mich.) contributed with a  goal and an assist. Steph Izzi (West Cornwall, Conn.) contributed with an empty net goal.

Senior net-minder Sarah Schuchardt (Verona, Wis.) finished with 28 saves in the setback for Hamilton.
