UTICA, N.Y.--The Connecticut College women's water polo team is visiting Utica College this weekend to open conference play.
Ranked #2 in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Poll, the Camels (4-1) have won their first four matches of the weekend in the Empire State.
In their third match Saturday, the Camels defeated Macalester 18-10.
Susan Doetsch (Arnold, Md.) paved the way to the victory, turning aside 10 shot to go with three steals and an assist in goal for the Camels.
Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) erupted with eight goals, two steals, and one earned ejection in the offensive uprising.
Kelsey Millward (Baie-d'Urfe, Quebec) contributed with four goals, two steals and two earned ejections.
Isabelle Baneux (Ithaca, N.Y.) registered three goals, two assists and three steals to go with one earned ejection.
Abbey Wrobleski (Honolulu, Hawaii) chipped in with two goals, one steal and one earned ejection.
Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) collected 10 steals while adding a goal as the defensive star for the Camels.
Due to a facility issue at Utica College Pool, the match scheduled to be played between Connecticut College and Carthage College Saturday night has been postponed.
