Camels Takes First Four Matches of Weekend at W & J

WASHINGTON, Pa.--The Connecticut College women's water polo team is visiting Washington & Jefferson College this weekend. 

The Camels have won their first four matches, improving their record to 8-6.

Connecticut College defeated Carthage in its first match. They earned an 18-2 win against Grove City College before closing out Saturday's afternoon action with a 19-4 triumph over Monmouth and a 23-4 win against Utica. 

They will play one more match tonight against Penn State-Behrend before they close out the weekend with two more matches on Sunday.

Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) has scored 23 goals, dished out nine assists, grabbed six steals and earned seven ejections for the Camels.   

Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) has scored 13 goals, 13 assists, collected 22 steals and earned five ejections to go with two blocked shots.

Isabelle Baneux (Ithaca, N.Y.) had dished out 17 assists and added three goals, 11 steals, five earned ejections and one blocked shot. Kelsey Millward (Baie-d'Urfe, Quebec) has scored 13 goals, dished out five assists, grabbed eight steals and earned four ejections to go with two blocked shots.
 
Sam Pierce (Windsor, Conn.) has accounted for six goals, five assists, nine steals, two blocks and two earned ejections.
 
Abbey Wrobleski (Honolulu, Hawaii) scored 11 goals, added three assists, seven steals and four earned ejections.
 
Brianna Harrity (Jeffersonville, Pa.) contributed with two goals, two assists, four steals and two earned ejections.
 
In the Utica win, Susan Doetsch (Arnold, Md.) made five saves and added one assist in two quarters while Sarah Sovia (Pottstown, Pa.) finished with an assist and three saves for Utica.
 
Doetsch had five saves, one assist and one steal in the victory against Grove City. Ashley Amey (Napa, Calif.) made one save in relief duty.
 
In the Carthage win, Doetsch finished with four saves, two steals and one assist for the Camels.
In the victory against Monmouth, Sovia made four saves while dishing out one assist.  Doetsch had two goals, two steals, and one assist. Amey added one save in the cage.
