NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's water polo team dropped a 16-7 decision to Harvard University at Lott Natatorium Sunday.
The Crimson improved to 7-6 with the win while the Camels fell to 0-8 with the setback.
Junior Aiden Kelso (pictured, Washington, D.C.) had a productive day for the Camels, reaching the high water mark on offense with two goals and one assist. Sophomore Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) sandwiched a goal around a pair of assists and had one steal in the match. Sophomore Stephen Cress (Rockford, Mich.) had one goal, one assist and one steal.
Cress turned in one of the plays of the year that thrilled the packed crowd in Lott Natatorium on his second half score when he collected a loose ball in his defensive end and launched a long high arching baseball-toss shot the length of the pool to beat the Crimson keeper to his cage.
Sophomore Daniel Seo (Lakewood, Calif.) contributed with one goal, two steals and one field block. Senior William Bogle V (Weston, Mass.) recorded one assist while adding one steal. Henry McMillan (New York, N.Y.) scored one goal while adding one steal and one field block.
Karan Das Grande (Menlo Park, Calif.) potted his sixth goal of the season. Senior Andrew Bullis (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.).
Senior Dan Albers (Aloha, Ore.) finished with 12 saves and two steals. Two of his stops occurred during power play situations.
The Camels are hitting the West Coast during fall break period and will take on the Spartans of San Jose State next Sunday in the Golden State of California.
